Wow. Okay…

So, last week was a cray cray week over here in digi-land. Since upgrading our internet to Starlink, I’ve literally had zero to no issues when it comes to posting, livestreaming, and the like. 

HHHOWEVVVERRR… 

technical difficulties

The one time I plan a 4-Hour LIVE STREAMING SPECIAL EVENT for VALENTINE’S DAY…

All cannot be controlled in my environment. 

Cue: Heavy Snowstorm Warnings. Incessant Snowfall. Live Stream Killed.

NOW.

Not one to gripe much IRL; But, murphy’s law got me pretty good while I was in my online-connection, and thus my over-confidence cupeth boiled over. and not only abrewing; but a showeth.

Why are you talking like that?

I don’t know. I was on a roll-eth.

*okay. wow. stop that. 

No-eth.

So we find ourselves, with no power, steep snow (for us, in our area anyway), and a fluffy pup that has no boundaries when it comes to personal space.

Even with this AMAZING Starlink internet…

I found myself buffering… and buffering…

But you can’t outrun nature’s, uh, err.. wrath?

What’s that guy’s name in those old, Burl Ives Holiday cartoons? Mr. Frost?

You know who I’m talking about. It’s the frozen guy, with the icicle hair.. oh, and he’s kind of a transluscent icy blue.

Anywho, I am halfway through this very planned, very pre-recorded masterpiece that I’m very present for and interacting with my friends and fam during the very calculated pomodoro focus timered breaks.

…And, just like that. Buffering turns to disconnection.

AAAAHHHHHH…. NOOOOOO!

It can’t be… we were doing so well!

Out goes a “sorry for the technical difficulties” post, and I am now forced to just sit and wait for the weather to stop assaulting my streams.

*sigh

Oh! I know!

Not one to be thwarted… I decide to do get some offline work done.

Who needs you… internet!

It’s the weekend at this time, and I need to really get some video editing done; that is, by the way, part of my pre-scheduled task, each week to occur!

So, I get down to do the bizzzness..

Check out this week’s video for Valentine’s Day! I’ve got some cute gift ideas, a Temu Haul, and some rompin’ around in the snow with my not-so-little guy, Bruno!

How’d you enjoy that video? Pretty fun this week, right?!

My favorite part was playing with Bruno in the snow. I swear it’s his favorite time of year! He was literally built for cold weather.

I also loved the part where I woke up nice and slow for a Sunday Morning Self-Care type of love that a.m. too! Got in that cozy coffee. Southern Pecan by Green Mountain Coffee Co.

Took in some more puppy hugs and kisses so my four-legged buddy felt the winter lovies.

Right! Don’t forget, the Temu Haul I scored this Valentine’s day! Socks, Positive Potatoes, & T.P. with sweet messaging… oh my!

I love these types of videos. I don’t do hauls that often; but when I do… I try to get them down on the content calender!

Thinking of getting one in for March. Maybe St. Patty’s Day theme? I’d love to hear your thoughts on that topic.

Well.. now my creative gears are turning!

SO MANY FUN IDEAS TO TRY!

So, here we are. In this week’s written post.

The video content has been published, the winterwonderland is already melting away a day later, and it was time to attempt to go live once again.

And… LIVE, again we did!

For 3 Full Hours!

How wonderful a time we had! So much love poured in at the re-broadcast and I am so grateful!

If you’re curious, or just took notice, that we intended to do 4 FULL HOURS. You’d be correct. That was the plan. However, I realized after the stream ended that I needed one more 45 minutes of focus time and an additional 10 minute break.

So, I think next month when we do a special event like this, we’ll opt for straight up – 60 minute focus + the 10 minute break.


Does that sound good to you?

Mathematically, it makes sense for me. haha. Clearly, adding up time in 45 minute blocks was above my pay grade!

I got to watch my friends and fam get their focus vibes on, accomplish tasks, projects, reading & writing, cleaning, or whatever anyone needed 4-45 minutes of times pomodoro timing focus blocks for! So much productivity to be had!

And hath it did!

And during the breaks, we chatted, supported each other, had fun!

We also spent some time at the lake with the fam, swimming, reading, relaxing!

We even baked cream cheese icing stuffed, red velvet cakes!

We had a good time getting into some early spring cleaning by cleaning my sofa!

We had such a blast! I wish you were there!

Sometimes, I get to publish two videos in a week, and it’s so fun; but hard work! THank you all for watching, reading, or listening this week!

I know it was a lot to take in, but, again thank you!
